Here are a few search engines for you to try!


  1. YAHOO!
    YAHOO! isn't actually a search engine, it is a directory, much like the telephone book. It arranges information in categories and sub-categories alphabetically. You can follow its hierarchy of sub-categories or simply type in the topic you are searching. (http://www.yahoo.com)

  2. Google
    Google has a design that is very easy and intuitive to use. (http://www.google.com)

  3. HotBot

    Try HotBot or AltaVista when you are searching for something obscure or in another language. They are also useful to locate non-print materials such as graphics.
